SCULPTURE

The sculptures capture the essence of clouds, reflecting the natural beauty of the sky. Its forms are soft and light, each piece crafted to resemble a cumulus cloud. The technique involves blowing and sandblasting the glass, resulting in a surface that feels like ceramic. This process gives the sculpture a tactile quality, inviting viewers to engage with it on a sensory level.
From different perspectives, the sculpture appears different as it unfolds. The glass forms interact with one another, creating a sense of movement that mirrors the fluidity of clouds. Inspired by the 17th century Dutch landscape paintings, the clouds encase each other in a fluid movement, while the light goes through their empty spaces, showing a delicate silhouette.
