The series "Maru Mori" explores the beauty found in simple elements of nature, particularly the decadence observed in plants and fruits. The pieces feature casually fallen fruits and petals, symbolizing moments in the natural cycle that are starting to wrinkle and fold yet they remain beautiful. These unique, colorful glass shapes create a visual representation of the joy of nature and the circle of life, inviting viewers to reflect on the ordinary aspects of the natural world. Its name comes from The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, written by John Koenig, where "Maru Mori" means the "The Heartbreaking Simplicity of Ordinary Things".
